Our AML and Verification Policy

Verification protects your funds and keeps Stacked Casino compliant with the anti-money-laundering laws of our licence jurisdiction. On this page we set out exactly what we check, when we check it and what we need from you.

Our AML Commitment

We operate under licence 8048/JAZ2023-064 issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, and that licence binds us to strict anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing rules. Every policy described on this page exists to keep criminal funds off our platform and to protect legitimate players like you.

Our compliance team screens all new players against international sanctions and politically exposed person lists at registration, and repeats those checks on an ongoing basis. Staff across the business receive annual AML training, and any suspicion of money laundering is reported to the relevant Curaçao authorities as the law requires.

When We Verify Your Identity

Basic checks run the moment you register: we confirm your age of 18 or over, your country of residence and your contact details. Full document verification is triggered before your first withdrawal, and again whenever cumulative withdrawals or unusual account activity cross our internal risk thresholds. You can also complete verification earlier at any time, which speeds up your first payout.

Documents we may request

  • Government-issued photo ID: passport, driver licence or national ID card
  • Proof of address dated within the last 3 months: utility bill, bank statement or official tax notice
  • Proof of payment method ownership: card photo with the middle digits covered, e-wallet account screenshot or crypto wallet address confirmation
  • A selfie holding your ID, if we need extra confirmation that the document belongs to you

How Verification Works

The process is built to take minutes of your time and no more than 48 hours of ours. Here is the full sequence from upload to outcome:

  • Log in and open the verification section of your account.
  • Upload clear, colour photos or PDFs of each requested document.
  • Our automated system checks document validity, expiry dates and data consistency.
  • A compliance officer manually reviews anything the automation flags, within 48 hours.
  • You receive an email and an in-account notification with the outcome or a specific follow-up request.

How your documents are protected

Documents travel over TLS encryption and sit on access-restricted servers. Only our compliance officers can view them, and we never pass them to third parties except where the law compels us. Originals stay in your hands at all times; we only ever store copies.

Source of Funds Requests

Source of funds evidence confirms where the money you play with actually comes from. We request it when deposits or net losses in a rolling period exceed thresholds set by our risk model, or when betting patterns look inconsistent with your established player profile. These checks are a licence obligation, not a judgement about you.

Acceptable evidence includes payslips, employment contracts, bank statements, dividend or investment statements, business accounts, or sale documentation for property or other assets. Anything that demonstrates a lawful origin can work, and we always tell you exactly what to send before the clock starts.

We Monitor Every Transaction

Every deposit and withdrawal passes automated screening for structuring, unusual velocity and links to flagged payment instruments. Transactions selected for review may be held until our compliance team clears them, and we will tell you when that happens.

Standard AML practice also requires withdrawals to return to the same method you deposited with, wherever technically possible. Card deposits are refunded to the same card, e-wallet winnings return to the same e-wallet, and crypto winnings go to a wallet address you control and have verified with us.

Withdrawal methodProcessing time
E-wallets (MiFinity, Jeton, Skrill)0 to 24 hours
Cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH)Up to 1 hour
Visa / Mastercard1 to 3 business days
Bank transfer3 to 5 business days

Limits that apply

The minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal both sit at 30 AUD. Withdrawals cap at 8,000 AUD per day and 32,000 AUD per month, and we charge no fees on either side of the transaction. Verified accounts clear faster, so completing KYC early works in your favour.

If Verification Fails

Missed or failed verification carries consequences we would rather you never face. Withdrawals stay on hold until valid documents arrive, and persistent non-response leads to blocked deposits and account suspension.

Where documents prove fraudulent, or where we cannot establish your identity after repeated requests, we close the account and return any confirmed balance to a verified payment method held in your name. You can appeal any decision by emailing [email protected], and we answer every appeal within 5 business days.

Records We Keep and Why

We retain verification records for at least 5 years after your account closes, as our Curaçao licence requires. Retention covers ID documents, address proof, payment method evidence, transaction histories and any source of funds material you supplied.

Holding these records lets us answer regulator audits, resolve payment disputes and detect accounts linked to excluded or sanctioned individuals. Once the retention period expires, the documents are securely and permanently destroyed.

Frequently asked questions

How long does verification take?

Automated checks are instant. Manual review of flagged documents takes up to 48 hours from the moment you upload them.

Why must I verify before my first withdrawal?

Our Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence requires us to confirm your identity, age and payment method ownership before releasing any funds.

Do you verify every player?

Yes. Basic checks run at registration for everyone, and full document verification is triggered before the first withdrawal or when our internal risk thresholds are crossed.

Is my personal data safe with you?

Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on access-restricted servers, and visible only to our compliance officers. We share them with third parties solely where the law requires it.
